📖 Reading: An Unforgettable Journey

Yesterday was a wonderful day. My best friend, Sarah, and I decided to visit the ancient lighthouse on the rocky coast. The weather was sunny but windy, so we wore thick, warm jackets.

The path was steep and narrow, but the view was breathtaking. We saw the vast, blue ocean and some tiny boats in the distance. When we reached the top, we felt exhausted but happy.

Inside the lighthouse, it was dark and quiet. The old wooden stairs made a strange noise. After our long walk, we sat on a smooth bench and ate delicious sandwiches. It was a peaceful and memorable experience.

Ayer fue un día maravilloso (wonderful). Mi mejor (best) amiga, Sarah, y yo decidimos visitar el antiguo (ancient) faro en la costa rocosa (rocky). El clima estaba soleado (sunny) pero ventoso (windy), así que usamos chaquetas gruesas (thick) y abrigadas (warm).

El camino era empinado (steep) y estrecho (narrow), pero la vista era impresionante (breathtaking). Vimos el vasto (vast) y azul (blue) océano y algunos botes diminutos (tiny) a lo lejos. Cuando llegamos a la cima, nos sentimos exhaustos (exhausted) pero felices (happy).
